But did you also know that a return to elements of the ancient Mesoamerican diet, including the revival of utilizing low glycemic agave foods to prevent and control diabetes, is gaining great momentum in Mexico?

Join award-winning agave researchers Patricia Colunga and Daniel Zizumbo on May 2nd at noon on campus for the 2nd Howard Scott Gentry Memorial Lecture to hear their story of leading in the revival in use of agaves and other healthy elements of the Mesoamerican diet to combat diabetes and obesity.
