We are excited to celebrate our 16th year of bringing Tucson a festival that explores the cultural, sustainable, and commercial significance of the agave plant and borderland culture with a strong focus on sustainability.
Volunteer Job Descriptions
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Volunteer opportunities for Food & Beverage Events include Agave Heritage Dinners, the Agave Fiesta, and Mezcrawl. Shifts are in the evenings and range from 1.5-3 hours. Duties include greeting and registering guests and require some standing and sitting. Volunteers will receive a complimentary festival t-shirt and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and food where applicable. Please note consuming alcoholic beverages while on duty is prohibited.

EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS
Volunteer opportunities for Educational Seminar Events include the Spirit of Sonora Expo and the Service Industry Education Panel Discussions. Shifts are in the morning and afternoon and range from 3-4.5 hours. Duties include greeting and registering guests and require some standing and sitting. Volunteers will receive a complimentary festival t-shirt and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and food where applicable. Please note consuming alcoholic beverages while on duty is prohibited.

CULTURAL EVENTS
The volunteer opportunity for Cultural Events is our festival opening reception. The shift is in the evening from 2-4 hours. Duties include greeting and registering guests and require some standing and sitting. Volunteers will receive a complimentary festival t-shirt and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and food where applicable. Please note consuming alcoholic beverages while on duty is prohibited.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Volunteer opportunities for General Information Events include off-site and on-site events throughout the four-day festival. Shifts are in the morning, afternoon, and evening and range from 3-4 hours. Duties include table setup, providing festival information, newsletter signups, and selling merchandise. Some standing and sitting is required. Volunteers will receive a complimentary festival t-shirt and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and food where applicable. Please note consuming alcoholic beverages while on duty is prohibited.
