Our friends from Rozet Nursery will be giving away free agave plants to the first 50 people to stop by. Supported by our sponsors at Borderlands Restoration Network and Bat Conservation International, this wonderful event will allow community members to participate in the planting of a future food source for our adorable little furry bat friends!

Bats play a vital role in our desert ecosystem as pollinators of cacti, agave, and other plants. However, as urban growth continues and the natural landscape is razed to be replaced with concrete and asphalt, the supply of food for these prolific pollinators is put at risk. We welcome our new partners at Rozet Nursery as we work together to increase awareness of this agave-bat relationship!
