Based in the town of Arrenal in the Tequila Valley, Destilería Cascahuín was founded by Chava’s grandfather in 1904 and continues to be an independent, family-owned distillery. Mezonte Destilados Mexicanos de Agave is the brainchild of Pedro Jimenez, one of the most well-respected educators and advocates of traditionally produced in agave spirits. His tasting room and brand are focused on shining a light on the producers that remain committed to small production of agave spirits primarily in the state of Jalisco but throughout Mexico as well. Pedro consistently bottles some of the most expressive and interesting spirits in the industry!
