Tequila and mariachi have long shared a stage. This guided tasting brings them together for an intimate, hour-long experience centered on flavor, sound, and story.
The evening weaves mariachi and tequila expressions from La Gritona, distilled by Melly Barajas and her all-women production team at her distillery in Valle de Guadalupe, Jalisco, making this an evening that honors craftsmanship, culture, and community.

Live mariachi music will set the tone for the evening, with storytelling and guided education thoughtfully woven between performances. Between songs, guests will enjoy engaging conversation and insight from a representative of the Mariachi Conference, who will share the rich history and cultural significance of mariachi. You’ll also hear from representatives of La Gritona and Bara-Cara, who will speak about what makes their brands unique and offer behind-the-scenes details from the distillery.
All ticket holders will receive a complimentary 50ml bottle of La Gritona Reposado to take home. Full-size bottles of both brands will be available for purchase after the event.

The celebration continues at 7:30PM with themed trivia hosted at Tap & Bottle North. Open to everyone!

We’ll be featuring La Gritona and Bara-Cara all weekend long, including the event cocktails available on the bar menu.
Seating is limited and reserved for ticket holders only. Gratuity for event hosts is included in the ticket price. No physical tickets will be issued. Your name (or the purchaser’s name, if buying as a group) will be on our check-in list at the event.
